Welcome to Lac des libellules

Lac des libellules is a former gravel pit fed by underground resurgences. The site offers ideal conditions for no-kill fly fishing. Our two floating lodges enable us to welcome anglers and non-anglers seeking peace and quiet on the water's edge and unusual laccommodation.

The lake is located 5 minutes from Bourges in the heart of the Berry region, 2 hours south of Paris by train or car. It sits at the head of a 14-hectare marshy and wooded area of great biodiversity. Blue dragonflies are a common sight in spring and summer. The lake is made up of 4 bodies of water with a total surface area of around 4 hectares. The water is surprisingly clear, averaging 4 to 5 meters in depth.
